ZEKS Eclipse dryers are available in ZPA Heatless, ZHA Heated and ZBA Heated Blower models to meet a broad range of application and operator requirements. Regenerative Desiccant Dryers

Before compressed air is used in production, finishing or sensitive research or manufacturing processes, it must be treated to remove moisture and contaminants. Without proper treatment, air may damage equipment and tools, reduce productivity and adversely affect the quality of finished goods.

Regardless of air compressor type, the compression process itself causes concentrations of water and airborne particulate to increase to damaging levels. EclipseTM desiccant dryers from ZEKS effectively and reliably dry compressed air to extremely low moisture levels for use in applications where the presence of even minimal moisture can’t be tolerated or where environmental conditions demand it.

Regenerative desiccant dryers use desiccant media to dry compressed air through the process of adsorption. Dry air with dew points of either -40°F, -80°F, or -100°F can be achieved. These extremely low dew points are necessary in critical compressed air applications or for those in extremely cold environments where any moisture remaining in the air would freeze inside compressed air system piping, resulting in blocked flow.

During dryer operation, the desiccant media is used to dry the air followed by a period of regeneration when the media is purged of the moisture it collects so it can be used again for drying. Twin-tower design of our dryers allows simultaneous air drying and desiccant regeneration – without interruption of compressed air flow.
